Bastian Zach was born in 1973 in Leoben. After graduating master class at the "Graphischen" in Vienna he worked for several advertising and media agencies. Since 2007 he is a director for editing and dubbing in Vienna.
Matthias Bauer was born in 1973 in Lienz. After studying history and folklore he worked for publishing companies and exhibitions. Since 2007 he works in the adult education center in Innsbruck.
Zach / Bauer wrote, directed and produced the award-winning short films "ausWEG" (2001) und "[infinite]" (2003) and the feature film "3 Zimmer. Küche. Tod." (2006).
They also wrote the script for the Swiss/Austrian horror movie "One Way Trip 3D" (2011).
In 2010, Zach / Bauers first novel "Morbus Dei: Die Ankunft" was published. The historical Mystery-Thriller was a hit among readers and will be continued in June 2012 with "Morbus Dei: Inferno".
Currently Zach / Bauer are working on several novels and scripts for international movie productions, such as the Viking movie “Northmen - A Viking Saga”.
